Laundry Pickup & Delivery in North Hills

North Hills, known as Sepulveda until the early 1990s, mixes large apartment complexes along Sepulveda Boulevard and Plummer Street with ranch-style family homes on the quieter streets. The VA medical campus on Plummer and the local schools keep it a busy, working neighborhood.

Many apartment complexes here have gated entrances and a leasing office, which is often the easiest place to hand off bags. Give us your building number and gate code when you book. At houses, the porch or the driveway works. Sepulveda gets heavy in the afternoon, so a morning window can be easier if you live right on it.

Shared laundry rooms in big complexes can mean waiting for machines all weekend. Wash and fold lets you skip the wait.

North Hills is close to Cal State Northridge, and plenty of students and young families rent in the big complexes along Sepulveda and Plummer. Shared machines and a long walk to the laundry room come with complex living. A pickup at your door means no carrying baskets across a parking lot, and the folded laundry comes back to the same spot within 24 to 48 hours.

Many of those complexes house families with several kids. Weekly laundry for a family of five can easily fill three or four bags, and carrying them to a shared laundry room, waiting for machines and carrying them back takes most of a Saturday. On the ranch-home streets away from Sepulveda, many houses have their own washers, but bedding, comforters and sports uniforms still pile up. Those can go out in a single order, with comforters priced per item and everything else by weight. Veterans and staff at the VA campus on Plummer Street can book a window around their schedules, Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM, and new customers get 20% off the first order.

Parthenia and Nordhoff Streets run through the middle of the neighborhood, and many of the complexes along them have gated parking. If your building has a pedestrian gate, leave the code so the driver can bring the bags to your door instead of the lobby. If you’d rather hand them off in person, choose a two-hour window and watch for the text before the driver arrives.
