Laundry Pickup & Delivery in Highland Park

Highland Park is full of Craftsman bungalows and older apartment buildings on hilly streets between York Boulevard and Figueroa Street. A lot of the houses were built before anyone planned for a laundry room, so washers end up in garages, on back porches or nowhere at all.

Many homes sit above the street on steep driveways or long sets of steps, so tell us whether to meet your bags at the top or at the curb. Near York and Figueroa, parking gets tight in the afternoon and a side street works better. In Garvanza and around Sycamore Grove, the streets are quieter and a porch pickup is simple.

The Metro A Line station on Marmion Way makes Highland Park an easy place to live without a car. If you don’t drive, hauling a heavy bag to the laundromat is a real chore, and pickup saves you the trip.

Highland Park also has plenty of renters in older apartment buildings near Figueroa, where a single coin machine often serves the whole building. If you work from home or keep odd hours, a weekday pickup fits easily into the day. Bags go out at the door or the bottom of the steps, and the folded laundry comes back to the same spot within 24 to 48 hours.

The small businesses along York and Figueroa, from cafés to vintage shops, are mostly run by people who live a few blocks away, and long hours behind a counter leave little time for laundry. A weekday pickup takes it off your plate. Families near Sycamore Grove Park and the schools in Garvanza can send uniforms, sports gear and bedding together, charged by weight. If you sleep late after a night shift, pick an afternoon window and leave the bags out the night before in a dry spot. Comforters are priced per item, from $26.99 for a twin, and new customers get 20% off the first order.

Sycamore Grove Park and the Arroyo Seco trails are close by, and a Sunday picnic means blankets and towels that need a wash. They can go in Monday’s pickup, with blankets priced per item and towels by weight.
