Laundry Pickup & Delivery in East Hollywood

East Hollywood is one of the denser parts of the city, with apartment buildings packed along Hollywood, Sunset, Santa Monica and Melrose. The hospitals at Sunset and Vermont bring in nurses, doctors and staff who work long shifts, and students at Los Angeles City College live nearby too. Few of the older buildings have a washer in the unit.

Tell us how to get into your building: a buzzer number, a gate code or the manager’s office. Street parking near the Metro stations at Vermont/Sunset and Vermont/Santa Monica is hard to find during the day, so a back entrance or a side street saves time. In Virgil Village and on the smaller streets east of Vermont, many homes are duplexes or bungalows, and the front step works fine.

If you work twelve-hour shifts, laundry is the last thing you want on a day off. Book a pickup on your day off or before a run of shifts, and your scrubs come back folded.

East Hollywood is also one of the most international corners of Los Angeles, with Thai, Armenian and Central American families living side by side. Many households are large and busy, with several people working different shifts. Wash and fold by the pound fits that well: everyone’s laundry goes in one order, the price follows the weight, and nobody gives up a day off to the laundromat.

Barnsdall Park and the Hollyhock House are local landmarks, and the streets around them are mostly duplexes and small apartment buildings with shared laundry. A weekday pickup from your porch or lobby skips the shared room entirely. Pickup is free, and your first order is 20% off.
